Tombola Launches New Bingo Site
Perfection doesn’t come from creating everything without error from the first try – it stems from recognizing your flaws, admitting them and correcting them. UK-based bingo operator Tombola, which we’ve previously reviewed, has recognised this all too well. Not content with what their front page has been offering, the people behind Tombola have decided to completely revamp its UK-facing site with a new redesign. The fresh aesthetics, built internally by Tombola’s in-house team, are meant to make the site more accessible and present the user with a smoother journey through its features.
The looks of the website aren’t the only thing that’s changed, though – the site has also updated the messages that appear on the front page, as well as added new welcome offers, a slideshow of all exclusive games, as well as videos of players who have managed to make it big while playing at Tombola. The changes might be a bit overwhelming, but head of marketing Dawn-Elizabeth Howe claims that the overall message, and what Tombola is all about, will not change. According to Howe, aside from the aesthetic revamp, nothing else (such as the advertisement messages) will change. As UK players may know, the site’s presence has been rather prominent on TV screens thanks to a new advertising campaign which aired across multiple channels, including ITV1, Channel 4, Channel 5 and many of the major Sky channels. The 30-second ad, which was shot over two days in Yorkshire, features numerous Tombola players who made a name for themselves playing on the site. While hundreds auditioned to be in the ad, at the end of the day only 25 were selected, which were then featured in regional press.
Currently, player feedback to the implemented changes has been mostly positive, though chances are that it won’t be the last. There’s currently no word on whether Tombola’s Italy-facing site will be updated, but chances are that it will be at some point.
